P-Locks are an easy to use, mid-level theft deterrent anchoring system that can be taken most anywhere. The patent-pending design features comfortable 8-inch handles for driving the helix coils into the ground. When helix coils are installed at about 12 inches apart, this intended distance, prevents soil disruption between coils. Once handles are connected with lock of your choice (Not included), outward movement is stopped, at this point both anchors are working as one, increasing soil gripping area, more soil coverage, translates to more holding power. The engineering department of a local University concluded that the maximum pull out force required to pull a set of P-Locks vertically out of the ground is 1,700 lbs. and horizontal removal required 2,900 lbs.
